Steps To Apply For Study Permit In Canada 

Before studying in Canada, prospective students must follow a specific application procedure and prepare the necessary documentation for Canadian authorities

Receive An Acceptance Letter :

• Get an acceptance letter from a recognized Canadian education institution

Check Eligibility  :

• Ensure eligibility by meeting criteria including financial stability for fees, living expenses, and return travel.

Complete The Application Form : 

• Fill out the Application for Study Permit form (IMM 1294).
• Complete the family information form .

Prepare Supporting Documents :

• Passport or travel documents.
• Proof of acceptance to designated learning institution (DLI).
• Provincial attestation letter depending on the level of education.
• Proof of financial support (bank statements, scholarships, letters, etc.
• Medical exam Results (if required).
• Any additional documents specified by  the visa office or application center.

Pay Application Fees :

• Pay the required fees online or at a designated financial institution.
• Submit an application online or at a visa Application Centre (VAC) or Canadian embassy /consulate.
• Some may need to provide biometrics.
• Monitor application status, Upon approval, receive a letter of introduction (LOI)for the study permit.
• Upon arrival, present your LOI to the border services and a Letter of introduction (LOI) for a study permit.
